SPECIFICATIONS:
SAW CAPACITY: 20 in HORIZONTAL, 25 in VERTICAL @ 90 DEGREES
20 in HORIZONTAL, 18 in VERTICAL @ 45 DEGREES
BLADE SIZE: 1-1/2 in x 18 ft6 in - Shut off switch if blade breaks.
BRUSH: Powered brush assembly - brush size, 1/2 in X 4 in
ELECTRICALS: 10 HP Drive motor, 1800 RPM, Ball Bearing TFC, sealed submersible coolant pump.
DRIVE MECHANISM: Totally enclosed, running in oil, worm gear reducer with variable speed drive 65-400 SFPM.
VARIABLE CONTROLLER: Machine is equipped with a variable controller for the drive unit. Please specify 220V OR 440V electrics. This is not a dual voltage system.
HYDRAULICS: 5 HP Hydraulic system
VISES: Full stroking vises
CONTROL: Control station is free standing and controls all hydraulic and electrical functions, adjustable clamping pressure, adjustable cutting pressure, feed traverse, power tilt, motor, blade speed LED readout, material clamp, coolant system, powered moveable guide arms, chip conveyor system, cut watcher, blade speed faster/slower and power on/off.
COOLANT SYSTEM: Totally build in coolant system with high pressure pump with tank. Tank capacity: 17 Gallons
POWER TILT: Power to tilt saw column to any desired angle with readout from control console.
BLADE TENSION: Powered blade tension with gauge readout.
MOVEABLE GUIDE ARM: Powered to automatically move guide arms to desired opening.
CHIP CONVEYOR SYSTEM: Powered chip conveyor system to automatically remove ships from base of machine. Chip conveyor can be set in an automatic mode or can be engaged for operation only when needed.
CUT WATCHER SYSTEM: A system that monitors the cut for squareness to a pre-set deviation value. The system shuts down the saw when the pre-set value is exceeded. This is a must option in production cutting.
SECOND MAIN MACHINE FULL STROKING VISE: Additional powered vise - This full stroking vise is used for additional clamping and works in conjunction with the main clamping vise.
BLADE SAVER: A system that allows the shuttle vise to index the cut pieces through the base before the head retracts to get ready for the next cut.
FULL CAPACITY TOP CLAMP: For vertical clamping of structural shapes and when entire in mill bundles in are to be cut. Top Clamp swings out of the way to top load or miter.
FULL CAPACITY TOP CLAMP: For vertical clamping of structural shapes and when entire in mill bundles in are to be cut. Clamp may need to be retracted to miter arm.
AUTOMATIC FEED SYSTEM:
SHUTTLE VISE: Automatic floating (Self Adjusting) shuttle vise feed system with rear rollers for ease of material handling. The All Function Control has the capability to feed lengths automatically until saw is out of stock or to a predetermined number on the pre-set counter. Multiple feeds for long lengths. Automatic feed to 800 in . Feed accuracy at production capability is limited to two positive stops.
3RD HOLDING VISE: Works in conjunction with main holding vise to assist in holding the material while it is being cut and also aids in aligning the material before it goes into the shuttle vise area.
POWERED LENGTH POSITIONER: Motorized movement to change lengths of cut
MATERIAL JOGGING: Allows inching of material to set up for a face cut or single cut.

1. POSITIONING OF HEAVY LOADS IS FACILITATED BY THE ABILITY TO MANUALLY CLAMP MATERIAL IN THE FEED VISE AND TELL THE COMPUTER TO MOVE IT FORWARD OR BACKWARD A SPECIFIED AMOUNT WITHIN IT ftS RANGE OF MOTION. FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE MATERIAL IS 6.50 in FROM THE BLADE AND A .5 in TRIM IS DESIRED, CLAMP THE MATERIAL AND TELL THE COMPUTER TO MOVE FORWARD 7.00 in .
2. A LIST OF APPROXIMATELY 160 DIFFERENT MATERIALS IS STORED IN THE COMPUTER WITH RECOMMENDED BLADE SPEEDS AND CUTTING RATES.
3. THE CUTTING PARAMETERS FOR DIFFERENT MATERIALS CAN BE EDITED TO MEET THE CUSTOMER ftS CUTTING REQUIREMENTS. (IE. BLADE SPEED, SQUARE INCHES PER MINUTE, ETC.)
4. JOBS COULD BE STORED BY THE CUSTOMER ftS PRINT NUMBER, CUSTOMER ftS NAME, ETC.
5. MANUAL POSITIONING OF THE TILT ANGLE CAN BE AS EASY ASINPUTING THE DESIRED ANGLE INTO THE COMPUTER.
